Inn offers
you a panoramic Ocean view which changes dramatically with each season. The view alone will help you
understand one of Maine's familiar motto's, " the way life should be." The sight
of the mountains, the sea, the eagles, gulls, osprey, along with the lobster boats and
sailing ships, will make your stay in Downeast Maine's Acadia Schoodic Peninsula
region something you will long remember.
The Bluff House Inn offers eight modern rooms, each with private
bath, offering comfort and privacy. The Inn also provides extra linens
for guest comfort and convenience. While at the Bluff House, enjoy all
the splendors of Schoodic Peninsula, Frenchman Bay and Acadia National Park. You may
launch your kayak or canoe from our pink granite shore, hike, bike, or cross-country ski,
depending on the season. The Bluff House is perfectly located for convenient and enjoyable
day trips up or down our exquisite coast. Our immediate area offers many island
trips,
wildlife sightings, kayaking, antiquing, lighthouses and other places of interest. The
sunsets are quite spectacular, and time spent in the evening at the fireside most
enjoyable.
The Bluff House is located in the town of
South Gouldsboro. After leaving Ellsworth, take Route 1 north 18 miles - turn right on
Route 186 - in three miles you will be there.

$65.00 to $130.00. Included is a breakfast of homemade baked goods, cereals, fruits, and beverages.
